Resolved -
The problem have been resolved, one of the nodes running StormApi started "misbehaving" and returned very long response times and timeouts. Since most of the requests were directed to the other nodes the problem wasn't caught early enough in our monitoring. The development team are investigating the cause of the bad behaviour and the monitoring setup have been updated to capture problems like this.

The changes rolled out on Friday have been successful during the weekend and solved the HTTP 502/504 problem. Additionally, certain slow-running jobs are now completing significantly faster. However, we continue to work and improve on Connect.

Investigating -
We've been experiencing issues with Storm Connect on Azure, where requests fails with HTTP 502 or HTTP 504 intermittently, jobs are also failing in a higher degree than normal. We are working on the problem and are implementing a change to mitigate the immediate problems.

Resolved -
The problem was caused by a resource management issue where the service consumes too much resources (caused by high load). We increased resources for the service and the development team are investigating if changes have to to be implemented to manage resources better.
